NightShift is a variety band that has been performing in southern Wisconsin for over 20 years. The group specializes in performing for corporate functions, private parties, and weddings. The band is currently running a supplemented sequenced show in which all bass lines and supplemented instrumentation (horn sections and strings sections and others) are produced in our home midi studio. This approach provides a professional big band sound, running multiple sound modules with two complete sound systems to provide CD-quality music. With the musicians performing in synchronization with the sequence, this provides, as our audiences have told us, "a fantastic sound." The lead guitarist has also the ability to produce many different instruments through his guitar synth. From playing a sax on Crazy to playing piano on Boot Scootin' Boogie. The drummer also runs 2 drum kits - one being his acoustic kit and the other all electronics, to provide any type of percussion instrument. The band is producing an ever-changing variety of music from the 50's through the 90's. Different styles include a Motown sound with such numbers as Midnight Hour, Ain't to Proud to Beg, Treat Her Right, and Mustang Sally. Country music includes songs by Brooks and Dunn, Little Texas, Reba McEntire and Restless Heart, as well as good standards such as Wonderful Tonight, Unforgettable, Blue Moon, Tennessee Waltz to name a few. All music is performed in a non-stop show designed to keep people dancing and having a great time. There can even be an Elvis Presley show provided to entertain your guests, as requested. The band has performed for such corporate functions as The GTE Company, Gardetto Foods, University of Wisconsin, Viking Insurance, Meriter Hospital, Southern Wisconsin Radiotherapy Center, Marshall Erdman and Associates, etc. The band has played literally hundreds of weddings through out Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. The band has also worked private functions for such organizations as South Shore Yacht Club (Milwaukee), Blackhawk Country Club, Lake Windsor Country Club, Nakoma Country Club, and Cherokee County Club. Also the band performs at such major resorts as Christmas Mountain, The Abbey, Cascade Mountain, The Heidel House Resort, and CC Supper Club to name a few, and all the major hotels in the area.
